Choosing the right wood for smoking can be a bit overwhelming if you're not sure what too look for . With so many labels and brands to choose from in the store it's easy to just grab a bag and go , and to be honest some people just honestly don't care.

Taste the Details

Growing up my father took his food very seriously, wanting to follow in his footsteps i paid attention to every detail. He would say

" Pecan wood best too smoke with for flavor and it does not need to be aged just cook with fresh wood some wont burn some will. Then use oak for the constant supply of heat,Oak has too be aged holds alot of moisture. Pecan for smoking and mesquite for grilling. Pecan burn slow Oak is hot mesquite for flavor"

Needless to say its branded in my memories as well as my taste buds.Summer barbecues and Holiday dinners are full of joyful memories you will talk about for years to come, so add some detail to you next cookout or just order from uncle Willie. You will be the talk of the town
